Tempted Ink™ was founded by Joe Maldonado with a mission to provide a comfortable, sterile and relaxing environment for the clients of Brooklyn, NY and the surrounding Tri-State area. We focus on any and all types of custom artwork and styles, specializing in but not limited to: Cover-ups, Lettering, New School & Black & Grey

While in the process of studying for a degree in drumming and audio recording, Joe regained his passion and love for drawing. In the summer following graduation, he began to dive into the world of tattoos full force. 

With his passion and clientele growing, Joe decided to open the doors to Tempted Ink. Using his creativity and knowledge of the industry,  he set out to create a care-free, relaxed environment for his customers.

Joe believes in focusing on his work and taking life one day at a time. He is grateful to be in an industry that strives for perfection and creativity on a daily basis, making his job more rewarding and giving his clients an enjoyable experience.

For some, getting a tattoo can be an uncomfortable experience. However, at Tempted Ink we provide a warm and inviting atmosphere where people can feel at ease, hang out and be themselves.

The shop offers a comfortable, private area in the back of the barber shop where people can relax and get their work done, all while enjoying a laugh or two.

We are located on the border of Dyker Heights and Bensonhurst. This neighborhood, comprised mostly of Italian-American, middle-class families in southwestern Brooklyn, is where Tempted Ink calls home. We couldn't think of a better place to open up shop than where we were born and raised!
