Tempted Ink™ was founded by Joe Maldonado with a mission to provide a comfortable, sterile and relaxing environment for the clients of Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, NY and the surrounding Tri-State area. We focus on any and all types of custom artwork and styles, specializing in but not limited to: Black & Grey, Illustrative Realism, Cover-ups, Lettering, Fine Line and Color Tattoos.

At Tempted Ink, we strive to provide quality services with the highest level of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. We do everything we can to accommodate our clients and meet their highest expectations. We are welcoming and laid back, providing customers with a one-of-a-kind tattooing experience.

While in the process of studying for a degree in drumming and audio recording, Joe regained his passion and love for drawing. In the summer following graduation, he began to dive into the world of tattoos full force. 

With his passion and clientele growing, Joe decided to open the doors to Tempted Ink in the neighborhood where he grew up. Using his creativity and knowledge of the industry,  he set out to create a care-free, relaxed environment for his customers. In 2024, after tattooing for 10 years, he re-opened the doors of the new and improved location where Tempted Ink sits today.

Joe believes in focusing on his work and taking life one day at a time. He is grateful to be in an industry that strives for perfection and creativity on a daily basis, making his job more rewarding and giving his clients an enjoyable experience. 

The Shop

2024 marks the beginning of a new chapter for Tempted Ink. The new storefront is located in the heart of Dyker Heights, Brooklyn.

For some, getting a tattoo can be an unpleasant experience. But here, we provide our clients with a clean and inviting atmosphere where they can hang out and be themselves.

Immediately upon walking in, people will feel welcomed and at ease. The shop offers a main seating area where artists and clients can collaborate, as well as a private room for piercing or tattoos placed in more delicate areas.

Coming soon, Micro blading and PMU services will be available.

We are located on the border of Dyker Heights and Bensonhurst. This neighborhood, comprised mostly of Italian-American, middle-class families in southwestern Brooklyn, is where Tempted Ink calls home. We couldn't think of a better place to open up shop than where we were born and raised!
